The International Workshop on Clean Energy Conversion and Carbon Neutrality (E3CN) will be held in Brisbane, Australia on 25-28 November 2026. This workshop aims to provide a high-level international forum for researchers, engineers, and industry practitioners to present and discuss recent advances, emerging technologies, and critical challenges in the transition toward low-carbon and carbon-neutral energy systems. The workshop will facilitate interdisciplinary exchange, foster collaboration, and promote the integration of scientific innovation with industrial applications in clean energy conversion.
By providing a shared forum for high-level dialogue and cooperation, the workshop will foster long-term research partnerships among the participants and contribute to a more innovative, efficient, and environmentally sustainable future for global energy transition and carbon neutrality.
CALL FOR PAPERS
We are pleased to invite submissions to the International workshop on Clean Energy Conversion and Carbon Neutrality (E3CN). The workshop welcomes high-quality original research contributions, as well as perspectives and review papers. The themes of the workshop include, but are not limited to:
1. Advanced Technologies for Clean Conversion of Traditional Fossil Resources
- Hydrogen production from fossil resources
- Low-carbon utilization of fossil fuels
- Decarbonization pathways for conventional energy systems
2. Solar-Driven Fuel Production
- Photocatalytic and Photoelectrochemical hydrogen production
- Solar thermochemical hydrogen production
- Solar-driven CO2 reduction to fuels
- Solar-driven interfacial water evaporation
3. Integrated Fossil–Solar Hybrid Systems for Clean and Cost-Effective Energy Conversion
- Solar-driven methane reforming
- Solar-driven gasification of coal/biomass for hydrogen production
- Solar-driven CO2 hydrogenation to fuels
4. Hydrogen Storage, Transport, and End-Use
- High-density hydrogen storage (compressed, liquid, metal hydrides, liquid organic carriers)
- Hydrogen transport and refueling station technologies
- Hydrogen fuel cells and combustion engines for mobility and power generation
5.Hydrogen and Fuels from Biomass and Organic Wastes
- Biomass gasification for hydrogen and fuels generation
- Gasification of organic wastes for hydrogen and fuels generation
PAPER SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Submission deadline:
It is required that you use the Template for submission. Any submissions that are not in the correct format may need to be resubmitted or rejected. The abstract template is available for download above.
All submitted papers must be original works that have not been published previously, nor are they under review by any other journal or conference. Plagiarism of any kind is strictly prohibited, and the author shall bear full responsibility for the originality of the paper.
Papers should be written in English, adhering to academic norms and standard formatting. The structure should include abstract, keywords, introduction, methodology, results, discussion, conclusions, and references.
The length of the paper should be 6-10 pages (including references), typeset in double spacing, with 12-point font (Times New Roman), and margins of 2.5 cm on all sides.
Papers must include the authors' full names, affiliations, contact information (email address, phone number), and a 200-300 word abstract, as well as 3-5 keywords.
REVIEW PROCESS AND WORKSHOP PROCEEEDINGS
All submitted papers will undergo a rigorous peer review process by the workshop Academic Committee. The review will focus on the originality, academic value, technical feasibility, and relevance to the workshop themes. The review results will be notified to the corresponding authors via email within 4-6 weeks after the submission deadline.
Accepted papers will be included in the workshop Proceedings, and selected excellent papers will be recommended to core international journals for further review and publication. Failure to register before the registration deadline will result in the paper being excluded from the Proceedings. REGISTRATION
All attendees must register through the Forum website https://e3cn26.dailyeliteevents.com.au/registration.html. The Workshop only accepts the online registration following the acceptance of the abstract.
Registration deadline: August 23, 2026.
ACCOMMODATION
The Workshop organization can organize hotel accommodation for all attendees, subject to the registration, which can be registered though the registration process above.
